About
Vision Appalachia
The mission of Vision Appalachia is to develop and manage programs that:
-
Make Jesus
known to others and help expand the impact of His kingdom
-
Build
Christ-centered communities and help train their leaders
-
Develop
community centers where Christian leaders can come together to
envision and plan for a brighter future
-
Provide
resources to improve the lives of families and communities
-
Work with
children through education and spiritual training and fun activities
-
Provide
short-term mission projects as a means of bringing others to Christ
and improving the quality of their homes and lives
Ministries and Programs
Vision
Youth
which includes high school and middle school program, Young Life and Vision Youth Vocational Training.

includes literacy, KidREACH
after-school tutoring and family.
Community
Resources
including Building Materials, Disaster Assistance, and Gifts-in-Kind
through The Storehouse of Vision
Appalachia.

includes Community Leadership Development, Operation of Community
Centers and serving others. [all Vision Appalachia partners]
Church
Relations and Evangelism
which includes operation of the Ministry Resource Center, pastoral
training and resources. [World Vision Program]
Economic
Development and Job Creation which
involves supporting the development of new industries for Appalachian
communities. [World Vision Program]

includes summer mission projects and week-end work projects.
